Across the United States, more than 500,000 business leaders, community advocates, parents, teens and individuals who want to give back and support their neighbors volunteer at the Y. That’s because in 10,000 neighborhoods nationwide we have the presence and partnerships to not just promise, but deliver positive, personal and social change.
With a focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, Y volunteers give men, women and children of all ages and from all walks of life the resources and support they need to be healthy, confident, connected and secure.

Special Event Volunteers
If you like to help on an occasional basis by participating in opportunities to give back to others, this might be the place for you! The Y has various chances throughout the year for you to offer your area of skill and expertise. One of the biggest events of the year is our Annual Healthy Kids Day which offers kids and families a free community day to learn about and celebrate healthy lifestyle choices. Volunteers are also needed to prepare for and assist with our Annual Meeting and Annual Trunk or Treat.
Policy Volunteers
Policy volunteers are those who might lead on our Board of Directors, any one of our Y committees, help raise funds to ensure the Y stays accessible to all, or might even advocate for the Y’s efforts to influence policies and initiatives that positively impact societal issues of importance to our community.
THERE ARE SO MANY WAYS TO VOLUNTEER! TALK TO US TODAY AND WE’LL PUT YOUR TALENTS AND SKILLS TO WORK FOR THE PEOPLE WHO NEED THEM.
